Music transforming lives: for our churches, for people from all walks of life, for the socially challenged and the underserved communities in Singapore, for all.
Our Mission
To connect people to each other and to God through music.
The school is therefore broadening its scope of work:
i. enhancing its quality music classes for members of the public, including the neurodivergent and seniors;
ii. responding to the equipping needs of churches in the area of worship and music; and
iii. bringing music to the wider community, starting with the underserved youths, those differently-abled and seniors, so that many may experience the life-transforming power of music.
What Makes Us Different
At MSM, we do more than teach music. We cultivate talents, build community, and empower individuals to not only perform music but serve effectively, in church and/or in society at large, with their musical gifts. Our students have not only done well in music exams but performed in public and served in churches. Our worship & music programmes are highly rated by participants.
Effective and Versatile
While we prepare students for external examinations such as the ABRSM, we provide a broader music education to enable our students to (i) play as soloist and in ensemble, (ii) traverse between the classical and pop.
Outward Looking
Under our new vision, our students will be given opportunities to serve the community with their music and be encouraged to think beyond the music studio in their musical pursuits.
Community-Building
At MSM, music learning is never a lonely one. Our curriculum includes opportunities for performing with fellow students and even professional musicians so as to build a community of musicians within the school to learn from one another and collaborate to serve.
