Frequently Asked Questions
As MSM offers a wide variety of programmes, the fee varies for each course. Besides lesson fees, a one-time registration fee of $43.60 and a refundable $100 deposit applies for one-on-one music lessons. We recommend a trial lesson first. This gives you time with the teacher, a feel for how lessons are run, and space to share what you hope to learn. Book a trial here.
Our teachers have at least a Diploma in the instrument they teach, and many have Bachelors and Masters in Music. Our stringent teacher interview process also ensures that our teachers have what it takes to teach (and not just perform).
There is no fixed age for starting music lessons. The right time depends on the instrument, the student’s readiness, and their learning goals. We welcome learners of all ages, from young children to adults. A trial class or consultation can help determine the most suitable programme and starting point. Book a trial here.
Besides in-house student recitals, MSM students may also perform in church and community events that are outside the four walls of the school.
