About the Event

You are the only musician in the room. How do you carry the worship flow with just a keyboard or piano?

This 3-week course helps solo keyboardists learn how to shape mood, add texture, and support impactful worship in small group settings — even without a band.

Who is this for?

Current keyboardists in small group or solo settings who are confident in basic chords and reading chord charts.

Course Details:

Dates: 6, 13 & 20 Aug (Wednesdays)
Time: 7.30 – 9pm
Venue: MSM
Fees: Participant Fees: $255 including GST
Observer Fees: $158 including GST
Class Size: The class has a minimum to start and maximum capacity of 6. Maximum 8 observers. Participants are required to prepare one contemporary Christian music song (post-2000) to play in class.

About the Instructor

Joyce Poh

Joyce Poh holds a Masters in Music from the University of Sheffield and has been serving in the music ministry for almost 40 years. She has been involved in contemporary worship for more than 30 years in various capacities (pianist, worship band music director), and is a member of Pentecost Methodist Church.
