This Privacy Policy Statement sets forth the privacy policy pertaining to this Site maintained by the Methodist School of Music (collectively, ‘MSM’ or ‘We’) – www.msmusic.edu.sg, and all sites of MSM which are directly linked to this site (collectively, the “Sites”). By using any Site, you are agreeing to the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy Statement.

MSM collects Personal Information only when you voluntarily submit the Personal Information for purposes including but not limited to registering for a course, subscribing to a newsletter, submitting an enquiry, making a donation, or signing up for events and programmes.

For each visitor to the Sites, our web servers may automatically recognise information such as the visitor’s domain name (or that of the visitor’s access provider) and email address. Regardless of the purpose for which it is submitted, it is MSM’s policy to maintain all Personal Information as confidential, and to use such Personal Information only:

* for the specific purpose in which it was volunteered (for example, to register for a course or workshop, to send updates, to respond to enquiries, to process donations, or to facilitate participation in MSM-organised programmes and events);
* to improve the content, appearance, and usefulness of the Sites;
* to track visitor usage for internal analysis;
* to notify visitors of updates, news, or relevant MSM information; and
* to retain such Personal Information only for as long as needed for the purposes above.

We may disclose your personal data to our partners, service providers, contractors, select vendors and affiliates whom we have engaged to provide our services, to maintain the Site or to protect the security or integrity of the Site and our databases. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to us, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

We may also share your personal data with our affiliates, subsidiaries and parent companies, industry regulators and other government organisations as required by local law and regulations, financial institutions, research institutions for market analysis purposes, or other third parties in our partner network who we work with to deliver our services. * request that MSM correct any such Personal Information; or
* request that such Personal Information be removed from our database.

The security and confidentiality of your Personal Data are extremely important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect user-information from unauthorised access and improper use. From time to time, we review our security procedures in order to consider appropriate new technology and methods. Please be aware though that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect and impenetrable, and no data transmissions over the web can be guaranteed to be fully secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and do so at your own risk.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy Statement:

“Directly linked” refers to links that fall within the msmusic.edu.sg domain and are operated by MSM.

“Personal Information” refers to any information by which you can be personally identified including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.

“Database” refers to any Personal Information provided to websites directly linked to MSM (i.e. sites under the msmusic.edu.sg domain operated by MSM). It does not include Personal Information provided to external websites that may be linked from the MSM site but are not under MSM’s domain.
